Using the TI eZ430 Chronos, the Chronos Flying Mouse is an innovative computer input device designed to allow fully functional mouse and joystick control using a Chronos watch. With snap-to-click technology and a wide variety of customization options, this application offers the abilities of several computer input devices without the position constraints of mounted hardware.

  • But, I must ask, what if you can't snap? I had surgery on my hand and finger and as a result I can't manage anything even remotely close to a snap :( Does this mean I can't use it?

  • @JawbonedScar a quick wrist up/down motion or left/right twist will also trigger a click, or for a less practical but showier demonstration you can clap (your hands can both move before they clap, it will click in the right place)

  • where can i get one?

  • @KSS18G You can get a TI Chronos watch at any of the sites listed processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/EZ430-Chronos

based on what country you live in (for which radio frequencies are legal)

The Chronos Flying Mouse software is free and can be downloaded at processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Chronos_Flying_Mouse

  • Love the "snap to click" functionality - very creative! The game controller option was very cool too. Way to represent the Big 10.

  • @sdroller Thanks! It took a lot of effort to get it all to work well

  • This innovation is simple and practical. Not only can it be use as a mouse it can also be use as a gaming tool. You can trash Wii already. NICE

    Well Thats Fantastic

  • i used it and it works great!!! but my PC acts strange when im playing my D!ck...

LOL who is so stupid to believe this?

  • will it work with 3dsmax and blender to rotate model? like 3d mouse?

  • nice dude!

  • Any reason why this could be used as a head mounted tracker for disabled persons? Clicking would have to be done through some other means, but there is software available that automatically clicks when the user "dwells" or pauses over a button. People are paying hundreds of dollars for head tracking devices that don't work any better than this appears to work.

  • @OnasiFilms: Hey Guys, I really love your work, and I want to use your programm, but I got a big problem.

I can't install VS2010, cause my windows installer is broken...so is there any way around VS2010, or can I install it otherwise? Thanks for your help: Chris :)

  • @fpssgamer hhahahaha i love your comment m8!

  • lol people actually believe this is for real
