@reynaldo7899 Agreed. Villazon seems hell bent on ruining his voice. I first heard Villazon live in Gianni Schicchi in 2002, and thought he was marvelous. Sadly, he has misused his voice since then and has damaged it badly. Beczala, however, always sings with beautiful technique, lovely vocal tone, and elegance.
@1HiMimi --- Actually, Christian Thielemann is a very rare bird. He's very sensitive to the singers he conducts ... and he doesn't compromise his musicianship.

@singercanela Fritz Wunderlich died 1966. Beczala was born 1966. As if he continued the life of Wunderlich's.
Compare them. Wunderlich = Beczala
