The Senate DFL and GOP have very different ideas on how to spur business and job growth. Senators Tom Bakk and Joe Gimse detail their plans to moderator Julie Bartkey. Sen. John Doll discusses why expanding broadband speeds statewide is critical to out-state residents.

  • Lefties never will figure out that the way to jumpstart MN is to decrease the size and cost of government, lower taxes and get the hell out of the way.

  • Yes, that's been working so well for the past 8 years in Minnesota hasn't it? Taxes are down, unemployment is up, bridges are falling.

  • Taxes are NOT down, liar. Revenue is down because of the economy that you Lefties help ruin and continue to keep in the crapper. The only thing that has happened is that Pawlenty has kept you Lefties from raising taxes here through the roof. That bridge failed due to human error and no amount of tax revenue would have changed that, so you can take that red herring and pound sand with it. Try to use logic and not BS

  • MN taxes are down. see is(dot)gd/52ehl Both per capita and percentage of income are down. Please check your facts before calling someone a liar. Read the bridge report carefully and you'll find that design flaws were part of the problem, but a contributing cause was delayed maintenance. Also the economy tanked in 2008 when President Bush and Governor Pawlenty were in charge. Limited regulation of financial institutions and lending led to the economic collapse.

  • WTF

By building more green tech, like wind turbines will bring many jobs to MN, are you deluded?

    STOP WATCHING FOX NEWS!

  • I hope that their not going to use any of the climate change scam to push for "green jobs". The science center for the UN was hacked, and the emails show skewed science, and a conspiracy to harass scientist who where using actual science. It won't work well for politicians to be pushing the standard "green job" stories, when the majority learn of the IMF/UN SCAM.

Pawlenty really is an *ss. I was researching contractor law, and he is responsible for eliminating many residential protective laws.
