Richard Shireby G0OJF, plays the 1877 Conacher all-tracker pipe organ in the workshop of Ireland-Shireby Church Organ Builders, Lincolnshire (UK). The organ is nearly at the end of it's restoration & at this point really only required the Gt Fifteenth to be regulated.

Please bear in mind that this was recorded in our workshop & not a church. Secondly, this was recorded using a camcorder with AGC, which of course limits dynamic range. Later recordings of this workshop restoration job were recorded over the workshop's CCTV system with high quality Sure SM57 microphones. One point about this 1877 Conacher all-tracker pipe organ, is that it is an accompanimental instrument, rather than one for recital use; as such it doen't have mixtures or high pressure reeds!

You are absolutely right about the organ being an accompanimental instrument. There are too few of these in churches today. This wonderful unison sound makes me want to sing.

I like the performance. There seems to be more resonance on other folks's organ videos, the capture here is a little flat. I am talkin about recordin equipment and settins, not about performance.
