  • cool layout and update love the nortfolk western sd45 high hoods are they athearn

  • Thank you and yes, the high hood Norfolk & Western SD45 models are all from recent Athearn RTR runs.

  • May be running in reverse for other railroads, but the Norfolk & Western units were designed and intended to be operated long hood forward.

  • I got NW 1776 from Santa when I opened one of my presents this morning. Really awesome locomotive

  • Awesome layout and awesome locomotives. Very prototypical with the long hood forward with those n&w sd45s. I have a couple ex n&w sd45s from athearn in guilford paint now though :].

  • This layout is incredible! That's a bit of a long consist to be pulling in reverse! The soundtrack is a bit unusual.
