I hate the new scenes. The one in the giant laboratory makes me feel like I'm in a cheap, plastic doll house; the music does not fit with the rest of the attraction.
I was amazed at some of the increased mobility and movement of the audio animatronics. It used to be that they would make very few, small movements, and now, they make incredible, fluid motions. I'm amazed. It was kind of weird hearing a woman's voice narrating, but I'm glad the original narration wasn't entirely altered. And the new room?! Holy moly, it looked so real. Not bad, though. Thanks for posting! :)
Overall, the new narration, music, animatronics, and show scenes are improvements over the previous versions (not that there was anything wrong with the previous versions).
I'm guessing the descent tunnel/video segment isn't finished. It'll be interesting to see the finished product.
The new show scenes are rich and detailed, and the new music is uplifting and beautiful; reminiscent of the old Epcot Center. So, I like it.
Anyway, are the cartoon characters in the video eventually going to look like us, the passengers, once everything is working? Is that why they scan our faces in the beginning?
they completely ruined the ending of this classic ride with a silly cartoon that wasn't even good

I like Judi Dench's narration quite a bit.
