  • Come on, can't you at least spell Tucson correctly? Medical plan options are huge for those who can't currently qualify for private health insurance.

  • @thectexperience Yes, Individual Liberty must be balanced with Personal Responsibility.

The most important responsibility is to NOT steal the labor of others against their will. To NOT become a burdon on society. Why?

Watch: "The Philosophy of Liberty" here on YouTube.

    Watch: "Statism's Assembly Line"

The WISE understand, LIMITED Gov't is REQUIRED to protect EACH person's LIFE, LIBERTY & Freedom to PERSUE HAPPINESS from the Mobocracy, Monopoly (gov't or corporate) & the Bully!

  • @yakyakyak69 Even governments who claim to favour small government and conservatism will act repressively in the way you describe. In fact, historically, those less progressive governments that are unwilling to mediate the injustices of capitalism have been forced to invest more heavily in repressive state apparatuses: the military, the police, and tyrannical leal regimes bolstered by boogieman campaigns such as the War on Terror. This is because the repressed suffer more under those conditions

  • @thectexperience Progressive is to concentrate power in gov't which is to concentrate power in politicians who promise the most of "other people stuff" to their political backers.

The gov't produces NOTHING. It just takes, consumes, redistributes and destroys.

The private sector must entice you to participate by offering each individual a product or service while they compete with others for your money.

Gov't is THE monopoly which uses guns, jail and now torture & murder... legally.

  • @yakyakyak69, I disagree with you man. Political cronyism has always been there, since the Roman Empire, ancient China: anywhere where there is severe power imbalance.

Being progressive has nothing do with rolling back "liberty" unless you consider that to mean the liberty of the filthy rich to fly around and do whatever they like. What Raúl wants is to even out the injustices of capitalism, which means evening out the wealth and providing basic social support. There's no need to attack him

  • Progressivism (anti-liberty "liberalism") is a political attitude favoring or advocating changes or reform through GOV'T action.

Give any POLITICIAN the money & power to "redistribute & regulate" & they will ALWAYS do so to benefit THEIR “special interest” campaign backers; Wall Street, Military-Industrial Complex, Collectivist Union Bosses & Giant "Green" Corps.

    Progressivism CREATES Political Cronyism.

Unlimited Fed FIAT (counterfeit) debt-currency FUELS THE FIRE!

    END THE FED!
