Learn about John Graden's new book, "The Impostor Syndrome: How to Replace Self-Doubt with Self-Confidence and Train Your Brain for Success" at www.TheImpostorSyndrome.com http://www.johngraden.com
Martial Arts Teachers' Association Founder John Graden teaches the basic fighting stance from his Pro-Star Martial Arts System.
the stance is the most important thing in any martial art style. It is the most basic yet most important aspect. Its the very foundation. you can tell a certain style by its stance
This stance (video) is used in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Savate
without the stance, you wont have any of the punches, kicks, elbows, knees, throws, joint locks, choke holds, blocks, trapping, movement/mobility. if you dont have a stance you may still have punches - but they will be very bad and telegraphed
