Uh, that's simply silly. Most people who play blues nowadays learn from tabs and have done for many years.

@MightyAlz Not quite so cut and dried. Tab will tell you where to put your fingers and after a fashion that'll do. A machine can do that. That's white blues. Pat Boone did that for the people who didn't want to feel it. I think you missed sergetm 75's point.

People do not realize the great blues in St. Louis. Benefit for the Cure showed some great musicians. Kingdom Brothers, Melissa Nealy Band, Miss Molly Simms, etc. Some of the best Blues in the country originated here. The Roots of Blues is St. Louis. So many areats have began here or create original styles.
