  • Thanks, yes it's in standard tuning.

  • Great playing, sounds very Big Bill ...is that tabbed anywhere ?

  • thanks...i have not tablature for this tune, i'm trying to learn this style with the Woody Mann's DVD and i've tried to get a good rendition of it.

  • Uh, that's simply silly. Most people who play blues nowadays learn from tabs and have done for many years.

Ever read any of Stefan Grossman's books? Tabs!

  • Amazing job you sound like him and you got the same guitar! Right, I don't wanna sound like an old jerk, but you don't learn how to play (like) this with tabs. you gotta watch Big Bill himself & listen to records. Ah ah, jonnyjames agrees...

  • I really enjoyed this!!!

  • A very great moment of BLUES ! Thanks !

  • Real nice well played

  • @MightyAlz Not quite so cut and dried. Tab will tell you where to put your fingers and after a fashion that'll do. A machine can do that. That's white blues. Pat Boone did that for the people who didn't want to feel it. I think you missed sergetm 75's point.

  • People do not realize the great blues in St. Louis. Benefit for the Cure showed some great musicians. Kingdom Brothers, Melissa Nealy Band, Miss Molly Simms, etc. Some of the best Blues in the country originated here. The Roots of Blues is St. Louis. So many areats have began here or create original styles.

  • wow!

i have been thinking about learning Broonzy, you have it dead on!! perfect!!

    good job man.
