I do not think that at any point in pregnancy you are prepared to loose a baby, and every woman reacts differently in my case I have been preparing to get pregnant and I was invested deeply so when i had the miscarriage it was hard on me. After almost 5 months I am still with the hopes for a baby but the uncertainty gets the best of me. I am not pregnant yet and still do not know if I do i would be able to carry out the pregnancy to term. It is hard
Hang in there. It's a tough time for you. I promise it'll get easier. I lost my baby at 6 weeks 5 weeks ago and I'm only feeling normal now as the hormones and loss just wouldn't go. The pain will pass. Cry and mourn as long as you need to.
It is definitely easier to lose the baby early in the pregnancy. I was about 6 weeks pregnant when I miscarried but I didn't really feel any sense of loss, as much as I would have loved to have a baby at that time. There was obviously something severely wrong with the foetus so it wasn't meant to carry on. If it had been any later I'm not sure how I would have coped. If it's your own body having problems carrying the child, I can imagine the burden of guilt to lay heavy on the mother's heart
