Old Fish Jazz Band Tries Again, 2011
Bota - cornet, bones, vocals; Prof. Butterfingers - piano, vocals, Talis Mortalis - banjo, vocals; Christoffer All Ahead - trombone, vocals; Dr. J. Muller - sax, vocals; Laurent Humeau - clarinet, no vocals.

Old Fish Jazzband is formed by members of too dumb to die, haferflockenswingers, cyclowncircus and others. With a typical instrumentation of the 1910's and 20's we play you the oldest jazz in the world which at that time was called ragtime, originated in New Orleans and born out of the blues and negro spirituals in times of segregation and jim crow laws. Nowadays, this unique style is harder and harder to find and can't be studied in any school or conservatory, but instead has to be studied from old recordings, books and biographies. This music fits perfectly in smokey bars and honkytonks, parties, swingdance-events, dinnerparties or even at the corner of your doorstep!
