  • This looks so much better then Zbrush. Only thing I could care about with painting in zbrush is actual pictures for textures. Still though it's very unstable to me zbrush and I struggle to do anything with it. Gonna try this and see if I can use at least for painting in 3D. Thanks for tutorial!

  • @x900lbGorillax1 : You can use photos/textures for painting in 3C Coat, it's a pretty good system as well, easy to pick up and figure out. Check out my pillar & vines tutorial, I use it to sculpt with texture but could have painted the colour through it just as easily!!

  • Dry brushing ftw!

  • @toketokepass : It's very much like drybrushing, great for bringing out those little details ;-)

  • a really good tutorial!

Just a question not related to it,I'm testing the demo of 3D Coat, your interface has a different color theme,I've not found anywhere a preference to set it in that way,is it simply what you get when you buy it ?

  • @theonlyreallaz : It's in the demo too, goto FILE>NEW then along the bottom of the pop-up box in the middle it says 'Choose Interface Theme' ina drop down box, there's a few options in there....not very obvious I know ;-)

  • Thank you for this incredibly interesting video, it's taught me a lot!

  • Actually scratch that i got it figured out...i had it on depth only...lol...but i still have one issue...the cavity more and less options dont seem to work for me...when i use them i dont get anything...I had to do all my paint work with just plain airbrush...lol
