That's good you got punished for "liking a boy." Your parents did it because they didn't want you developing bad habits which will make you a slut and give you a bad reputation. Plus, they weren't ready to become 40-year-old grandparents as they felt you weren't ready to be a parent because they didn't want to see you stressed out all the time and taking your frustrations out on your kid because you're "freedom" as a teenager was being hindered by motherhood.
