Oiran (花魁, Oiran?) were high-class courtesans in Japan. The word oiran consists of two kanji, 花 meaning "flower", and 魁 meaning "leader" or "first." Cultural aspects of oiran traditions continue to be preserved to this day.

  • I LOVE when the Oiran do some of the more obscure figure-8 walks. People believed these were regimented patterns, but the truth was the finest Oiran each had their own uniques version she would try to perfect.

  • She has the sexiest Fig 8 step I've seen-the little pause, then kicking leg up before landing it all the way fwd. A beautiful face, and love those white painted feet. I'll buy that for a dollar, or a yen, or a koku whatever.
