Nokia Lumia 800 Launch in Copenhagen

Friday January 20th 2012 Nokia and Microsoft http://www.nokia.com/dk-da/ invited 150VIP's to the Danish launch event for Nokia Lumia at PARKEN in Copenhagen, the Danish National Soccer Stadium (Capacity: 38.000). On this evening the Windows Phone tiles came to life in an amazing and innovative 20-minute non-stop show. Guests were guided to their seats in a completely dark and silent stadium. This was their amazing experience.

Under the umbrella of The Amazing every day - a "Best in Class" event was executed in front of this small audience. The aim of the event was to use the whole stadium as live demonstrations of the phones capabilities and that included live performances from DJ Noize, Copenhagen Drummers, F.C. Copenhagen, Halo's Master Chief, Office 365,
a spectacular execution of Nokia Drive and a grand finale worthwhile watching.

@GreenGorillaGuy Apple is better, yeah. Eventhough Lumia doesn't usually break when you drop it (dropped mine several times), it doens't lose signal when you talk with your left hand, it doesnt fail you at -5 celsius, nor doesnt break down in -12... it doesnt cost as much but yeah.. apple is better....

@ginito yeah windows phone 7 does have low sales but take a look at the first xbox it wasnt that sucessful but with time it grew to be a power house. the lumia sold over 1 million this is just the beginning man. i agree microsoft marketing sucks only now and then do they actually have good ads. windows phone holds the highest customer satisfaction on amazon meaning microsoft is doing something right.

@wixostrix I just don't understand why Microsoft changed the phone to a lesser product. Sure the app. ecosystem will be awesome and large, and there are other things that will be 'better'..... but I just feel its one of those, "Hey buy our stuff, its better cause we shot fireworks..." ya know?

8/10 hating on Windows Phone have obviously not tried it enough. At the most, they have picked up some display unit in the store that didn't even have the Facebook / Twitter / LinkedIn / People / Me / E-mail live tile options set-up.

I admit the OS looks pretty boring at a first glance when there's nothing happening on the Live Tiles, but once you connect your personal Facebook, Twitter etc, and also enables "Me" tile, it's F'ing go-time! You won't experience that by just looking at store units
