Many congratulations for this video!
This is one of the most beautiful Bach's "Johannes Passion" versions I've ever seen!! It's wonderful how this chorus and orchestra interprets that Masterpiece, the words purity, the emotional singing, almost as if the choir was at the Tomb of Christ, crying His death!
I'm a Roman Catholic, but I deeply admire the talent of a man with a great faith, which being Protestant shares the same devotion to Christ, Our Lord.

I love this performance, plan to buy the complete cantatas by this group.

Beautifully rendered. What a superb ensemble of soloists, choir and orchestra with great musicianship! I can't wait to hear them perform on stage in March.

6:45 großartig!

This is the best performance I've heard of St.John's Passion, without any doubt. Maestro Suzuki, the musicians, choir and soloist did a superb job. Bach would have been completely satisfied with this brilliant performance.
