In this performance (where they sang a few other songs), Bonnie is really charismatic, and even though they were a group, she did little things that caught people's attention to her, and sorta set her apart! Just watch how "limber" she is - along with the energy she brings! I think even the sisters were like "What is Bonnie gone do now?!!" Hahahaha! Love you Ruth, Anita, Bonnie, and RIP June! No other artists could hold a candle to the Pointer Sisters! The harmonies!! OMG!

Yeah, I agree everyone is just familar (born after 1975) with the 80's pop Pointer Sisters. Even though, they don't get much credit for it, but they definitely influenced a few groups/artist that came after them, you can hear it in some of their music:
Whitney Houston (especailly the song "I'm Your Baby Tonight")
Madonna ( the song "Holiday" has Pointer Sisters written all over it!!)
Envogue (their first album "Born To Sing" need I say more?)
Take 6 (male version of them)
