On October 15th, 2007, RE/MAX CEO tells the public that after 7 years, you will get appreciation, "Guaranteed!" She also says that it's the perfect time to buy. No surprise there.

So if you bought a house from RE/MAX after October 15th, 2007 and it doesn't appreciate 7 years from now, do they owe you the difference? Interesting... It seems like they are opening up themselves for lawsuits.

Analysis of Video...
The quintessential realtor, in fact, the CEO of a very large realty company.
The classic, "it's a great time to buy" is amplified to, "it's a perfect time to buy".
How can they keep talking like this? Price drops are already huge from this Oct. 15, 2007 TV segment...
If the CEO says appreciation "guaranteed", then what are the underlings saying, the realtors in the trenches?
The music kicks in to drown out the talk because really, the rest of her comments just turn to noise as our minds start to spin with the realization that this just went too far...
In the end, someone owns us all, and there are just tumbleweeds... Visit Modesto or N. Sacramento and you know what I mean...

Song lyrics: Sell Sell Sell, Barenaked Ladies
a smoking gun
Distracts us while the actor takes the stand
Buy buy buy buy
Sell sell sell
How well you learn
To not discern
Who's foe and who is friend
We'll own them all
in the end...

  • Wow, another infomercial on you tube.

    What a surprise. Thanks.

  • I meant to show how ridiculous realtors sounded in light of what really happened. Housing dropped dramatically after Oct. 2007. Some people missed the sarcasm.

  • I can only speak for my area in Southern CA, if you bought real estate at the end of 2007 - 2008 like I have, you would have made $ by several folds!!! you put 10% down payment, even if the prices go up by 20%, you have doubled your $!!!) There are always idiots like the guy who posted this video (WhineMax) who have nothing better to do than to talk sh..t about others and feel sorry for themselves and whine and moan why they are the victim!

  • Fucking scumbag realtors

  • She was 100% right, damn she's good!

  • God damn corporate schills....i hope they have their homes foreclosed on as well...fucking monkeys.

  • Even if you bought then which was not quite before the bottom you would be in a good position to sell in 2014.

  • realtors are assholes

they suck realtor lie nar sucks

  • Everybody hates realtors. They suck.

  • To a hammer, everything looks like a nail. To a salesperson, there's never a bad time to buy.
