Prof. Petar Maksimovic of the Henry A. Rowland Department of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins' Krieger School of Arts and Sciences helps a young visitor to the 2011 Physics Fair (April 16, 2011) launch his balloon rocket. Youngsters experimented to see whether a "rocket" inflated with helium or air, or both, sprang the farthest along a string track. (By mid-afternoon, data collected seemed to favor rockets inflated with air.)
