Skybus is marketed after Ryan Air and other highly successful budget airlines in Europe. It will be interesting to see if that business model can be used sucessfully in the U.S.

Found this on-line somewhere:
"Skybus Airlines, Inc. reported earnings results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. For the quarter, the company lost $16 million. The results were 'in line' with expectations and that it expected to lose money before becoming profitable next year."
