She may be a very weak commentator, and their network may be a complete bomb, but this was the only source I could immediately find that discussed the Census Bureau situation, and personally, I thought she explained it quite well. That's all.

The Obama Administration wanting to take control of the 2010 Census is just the beginning. They are also trying to push this Card Check Legislation in order to increase the number of unions and union members, knowing that unions mostly donate money to the Democratic Party whether the union members like it or not. Card Check will help to increase the amount of money donated to Democratic Campaigns, which will create an enormous advantage for the Democrats in future elections.

Since the commerce secretary is appointed by the president the executive branch has always held at least some sway over the census. Having the director of the census report directly to the president's chief of staff looks very much like a power grab. Why do it unless you want less people in the loop and therefore less accountability and more ability to skew the results? This Maddow chick isn't very bright.

Congresswoman Lee couldn't give a fuck about an accurate census. All she cares about is getting a result that increases the number of minorities; she'll support whatever methodology that gets her the result she wants.

Maddow's comments that Lee wants accuracy is bullshit.

And I LOVE the expression on Maddow's face at about :42. Giddy with glee that the census is being shifted to the White House. Oh, happy day! What an ass. People like Maddow will do ANYTHING to further their political view

This will be interesting to watch. The constitution clearly states that the census requires an actual count.

The Left wants to use statistical sampling instead of actual head counts because it will increase the number of minorities reported and will result in more Dems in congress, more federal money for the inner cities, etc.

IMO the courts will find statistical sampling unconstitutional, but beware the Leftist judicial activists.
