John Leyton performing with the Rapiers at The Joe Meek festival, Newent, the birthplace of Joe Meek the alchemist of british rock and pop, If you didn't get there try next year, And if they are performing near you , go and see them, live music, no backing tracks or miming, just good old fashioned rock and roll, god bless rock and roll.

  • Joe was ahead of his time - when you hear that sound, amazing, thanks for posting this

  • Johnny Remember Me Please !!!... hugs forever ..long live the GREAT 60s' ..lyndloo..

  • Could we have the lead guitar a bit louder please? I can almost hear John singing

  • Generally I detest audience singalongs but here I make an exception when the crowd helps out on the chorus, as it kinda adds a mystical effect.
