Mr Gao in Yangshuo doing his Panlong staff form around 2004 - as I recall, he said the first (martial) part came from his father, the second (more technical) part is his. He was around 80 years old when this was filmed.
His family combined Wudang and Shaolin forms to create their own style, which he calls "Budizhen". He told me that it was called the Panlong staff form - I guess that means "Roc-Dragon" - and that the first, more martial part was from his father, and that the second, more technical section based on handling the staff, was his own.
