@darksword101 Actually, I kinda have to agree with you there. If you've seen the famous demotivational poster, SEED destiny 39 was basically Kira saying "Fuck off, Shinn. I'm the main character now."

@SargentToughie well camille lost all those people over the course of the show though, not mention his parents had all but seperated, by the time of the series Camille's family were basically strangers to each other. Shinn instead lost his family before he even thought of climbing into a mobile suit. This will result in very different characters. Plus if you want to blame anyone for shinn becoming an elite mook blame the writers is what I say. It's certainly not the character's fault.

@bzoner16 Well, when you used the line 'can't even begin to compare' you leave a lot of room open to interpretation.

As for Berserk, I can't watch that, believe me, I've tried. That series breaks the tragedy and pain threshold and cranks it up to 11. It's too much or me.

Kamille Bidan lost all the same people that Shinn did, plus about 4 more, you know what he did? He became stronger because of it, and used his strength to honor those that were lost. He didn't go insane and instantly start trying to stab the first person that he saw as responsible for his losses.

Kamille looked at the hearts of people, and he never stopped fighting for the sake of a better world. Shinn... Shinn just let himself become an elite mook.
