During the Vietnam war, over 10,000 Americans went on tax strike in protest over their government's actions.
Today with the conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan, there is a group of people arguing that to pay tax is illegal as it is assisting the commissioning of war crimes.
In this video, a woman who works for William Hill book keepers explains the steps that she took to stop her taxes being paid to the government.

Federal taxes don't go towards ANYTHING, but the private banker's pockets. Do your research before you spill crap from your mouth and make yourself sound like an idiot. What pays for the roads are the gas taxes you pay at the pump. federal income tax is a direct tax and is straight up ILLEGAL as stated on the Constitution of America.

taxes dont pay for roads and hospitals etc... taxes pay the interest off, that the government gets when they borrow money from the international banks. why does it cost thousands of pounds to create a road bump, when iit would cost a normal human about 100 pounds?

@NoSkeptics every country is different. The banks own us in this day and age because the governments kept borrowing money to the point they cant repay the federal bank reserve. I'm Australian,live in Australia, and even i know of the corruption behind closed doors.and im not american or british.Our debt can never be repaid,thats why Obama is pushing for the new world order so he can sign infrastructure and our VERY OWN lives over to what will become the world bank. Australia feels what usa does!

The problem with this is many businesses will not allow you to do a 1099 form which allows you to pay your own taxes. And they won't hire you if you insist on getting one. They are obligated to pay tax as well. They won't lose the business over it. So this is a very big step in imprisonment for millions of people for not paying them.
