@LifeRegenRevolution The middle class was strongest during the period economists call the Great Compression--1945 to 1973. It is declining in this new era of Reaganomics.
BTW, 9/11 was not the first time terrorists started taking planes hostage. It used to occur with great frequency in the 70s. This was just the first time they sought suicide, not political ransom.
