FANTINE'S DEATH

Tony Award winning Filipina actress LEA SALONGA as Fantine performing with Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean in the 25th Anniversary Concert of Les Miserables on October 3, 2010 at the O2 Arena in London.

After her succesful stint as Kim in Miss Saigon, Lea became the 1st Asian ever to portray Eponine and later Fantine in the Broadway production of Les Mis...

This is Lea's second chance to perform as part of a 'dream cast' as she was Eponine in the 10th anniversary concert of the same musical.

Truly a Dream performer... :D

I cried at the end of this song, where Eponine dies, and where both Fantine and Eponine come in at the end when ValJean dies. I absolutely cannot get through Les Miserables without crying at least once. I love it.

One of the reason's I love Alfie Boe's Valjean, besides having an amazing voice (I would call it god sent if I was religious!), is his ability to exude pure kindness - his eyes are just beautiful in that respect.
