Did any wave actually been filmed in San Francisco?

Not entirely sure why did Rip Curl choose this city, hard to think a worst place to surf in terms of consistency. Specially having in mind the last couple of years of Search.

Even tho I wish you guys the best of luck with the event. Hoping to see some real surf spot next year.

The title should read "Cheeser video". There will be no bikinis, no mai tais, no jetskis. Just cold water, white wash and giant angry open-ocean swell. The Quiksilver Pro New York and the Hurley Pro @ Trestles were pretty weak contests, this one won't be.

@trincamckee Ocean Beach is the best beach break in norcal on the right day and rip curl should have a chance to represent it. The mavericks contest is hard to watch and the oneill coldwater classic doesnt host all of the top 34 surfers in the world, so norcallers will finally have a chance to watch an big league asp contest. Plus itll be interesting to see how the surfers can do with the cold, currents, and shifting peaks.
