Typical of the spin that only arrogant politicians can spout with a straight face. The Massachusetts 4th district, over the years has been redistricted in and out of the 15th, 10th, 2nd, 5th, 9th and the 3rd districts. It did not obtain the handle of a "garymandered" district until the 1982 redistricting while Congressman Frank was seated.

I can't fully express the dismay I have (and lack of respect) for Massachusetts’s voters. My take is that Frank must have siphoned such an enormous amount of American paychecks to your state that you felt as long as Frank can continue to pillage other states you might as well choose him to represent you. Well make no mistake. If there is a single earmark headed your way I will fund commercials in my state to guarantee that my Congressman and Senator obstructs your piece of the action.
