Brand new Macbook Pro with faulty display

In April 2010, a friend in India got a Macbook Pro from his US-based aunt visiting them. It arrived faulty, with a funky display problem. Apple India refused to help. Here's the problem in action.

@jmtdstoc If it was a Mac that costed the same as the Windows, I would have a problem Mac OSX. That's just the way we are different, nothing to do about that. Have you tried Win7 for a longer time? On a computer that is not a Dell pre-built?

You said people could buy a Windows machine, with higher specs and a lower price tag. But the problem is that such machine has Windows on it :) .

@bhavinmytube They will replace it if it's faulty, so you shouldn't be scared by that.. I'm scared of there prices, since you can get a Windows (Not Dell for christs sake!) for under the half with better specs..
