@hotairballoonfan I agree 100% I have been going for the last 20 years. One reason is because one of my best friend's mom is a pilot at the event. And I love seeing those balloons lit up against the early morning sky.

This video is great! The Dawn Patrol has always been my favorite part of the Great Reno Balloon Race because they glow in the dark just before the sun comes up. I have been going to the Great Reno Balloon Race for twelve years (since 1995) and will be going for my thirteenth year this September. The Great Reno Balloon race is on Sept. 5-7 this year.
