@Corenero Sorry, but she is french and her french diction is worse than Kaufmann's ! Find this aria by Andrea Guiot or Andrée Esposito and you 'll understand what singing in french means !

I agree - Kaufmann is very good singer, but he is a bit severe to be more sensitive as Don José. I prefer Roberto Alagna- he is probably the best for this opera anyway just now.....

Au sujet des "r".....dites donc cela aux directeurs de théâtre qui engagent les artistes ....aux chefs de choeurs de France et d'ailleurs....aux membres de jurys des divers concours nationaux et internationaux, à ceux de l'école de l'opéra...,, et vous verrez combien ils sont toujours démodés.....

No doubt the greatest "discovered" tenor of today:) Move over Mr. Bean...I mean Villazon! I've heard countless tenors sounding like Domingo & sometimes Pavarotti, but to sound like Vickers? Never would I thought that that sound would be ever heard again from another! Also when he sings some of his high notes he sounds like Wunderlich!!! Bravo Kaufmann!
