Kevin, just wondering are you able to use your oven as a dehydrator? It seems like a waste if I have an oven and could use that instead of buying a dehydrator... :D The only reason I would think you couldnt is your oven doesnt go low enough. But could you keep in on the lowest temp for a shorter amount time, who that work? Thanks Regards Renee :)

cat butt! Never used a dehydrator, and I appreciate all the hard work you and your wife do. (:

I used the teflex sheets. As you said - trying to avoid EVERY toxin would drive me bonkers.
Oh, and I wouldn't use wax paper - I would use unbleached parchment paper (wax tends to melt a bit and get on your food)
Thanks - I do appreciate what you guys do :)

Thanks Johnny 5. You got me laughing and it felt great!. Reminded me of how my cat would get jealous of a book I was reading and would put herself between me and it. I think he missed you Kevin and was just trying to get your attention away from the camera. Love to You All and Thanks for the info!

BAHAHAHAHA!!! best ending EVER!!
Sodium causes high blood pressure because of the higher osmotic pressure across the nephrons in the kidneys. Excess sodium will cause extra water to be reabsorbed so that your blood volume increases. Then your heart will have to pump more blood, and that will cause your blood vessels to be more pressurized. It doesn't have to do with viscosity.
