@PearlshippingDriftTV here is why, the ECU (on-board computer) controls every movement of the engine. With the computer turned off, it won't start anyway, and do not forget that fuel injectors won't work either. My car manual says specifically Not to push start although it has a manual stick shift.

When you turn the key to the on position the ECU turns on and fuel pump starts to build fuel pressure in anticipation of starting. I don't see why it would not work.

Yeah. I even got one of those things that lets you piss in it then drink it again. Still tastes like pee but you get the idea.
