Zack continues his struggles against S.D.III-A, S.D.III-B, and S.D.III-C, the trio of guardians protecting the last treasure chest of Barbaros from being opened. With security this tight, there must be some pretty strong mojo inside that box. S.D.III-A has sucked it up inside of her, so Zack will need to take her down to grasp it from her.
The S.D.III's have tried sending out enemies to attack Zack for them, but Zack stops them all cold in their tracks. They've tried to suck Zack in themselves, but only two can do it at a time, and by standing in the safe zone of the third S.D.III, Zack continues to evade their attacks. Just standing in the back of the room, it seems, won't faze Zack. Now they mean business: For a directly direct attack,, they'll create a large circle of vacuum on the floor, and the S.D.III of that corresponding color will come up to the circle herself and inhale in EVERYTHING in the circle. Here's where the Frog Bombs come into play--their weak spot is inside of themselves, and if they suck in anything destructive, they short out.
The thing is that you must do it in order, starting with S.D.III-C to S.D.III-B and finally to S.D.III-A. They reveal themselves by being the one with the shrieking face inside. If you detonate the wrong one, the the shrieking face will heal her. Also, if you take too long with A or B, they'll finish fixing the smaller S.D.III and re-release her, and you'll have to start over.
Once you blow up S.D.III-A, she'll be finished for good, along with the others inside of her, and the treasure chest will be up for Zack to open. Zack finds the last piece of Barbaros in here, his hat, and an excited Barbaros scurries in through the skylight and eagerly begs for Zack to to restore him to his former glory, and being the good boy that Zack is, he complies.
Wait...what's this? This guy doesn't look quite as friendly or jolly as he was when he was still a golden skeleton. His coat sleeves have a shark motif, and his gloves have a skeletal design. He hovers in the air and brandishes afiery red cape. He has a hot iron rod he's holding like as if it's nothing, and this guy could very well be a distant cousin of Ganondorf. Not to mention that his first act is to betray Zack by promising Zack his ship, then plunging him into a pit of darkness! This guy's an antagonist! We've been helping the bad guy all this time!
Not like there weren't a lot of signs before. How could Zack be so insightful yet be so dense at the same time?
So, for the third time, Zack is stuck in a freefall. And again, there's an umbrella at hand. It's not over yet though--the curses that held on to the treasure chests before are now joining up together to kill Zack! Hes going to need to skedaddle out of here!
This is getting gripping! Bet you can't wait for the third part of this mission!
What exactly were you waiting for before blowing up S.D. III-A? Were you just showcasing what happens if you dawdle?

No, I wanted to time it just right. I didn't know the iron maidens return if you stick around for too long.

I know I sound totally stupid right now, but what were you trying to time?

Throwing the Frog Bomb into the vortex without getting Zack sucked in too. Eventually, I decided to just take the risk.
