One of the many bands I played the drums with during the 80's. This is a live recording, no sequencers or overdubs. The audio was recorded on a single microphone in the audience not through the mixing desk. Well done IC. The band "The Turkeys" did a wide range of material including David Bowie, The Monkees, Elton John etc.

  • Glad you liked this one Jimi.

Yeah that's a Pearl kit. I had a Slingerland kit as well.

The keyboard player had plenty of energy alright and it was infectious too...lol.

  • @sproutcentral Idea. My next birthday party will be '80s-themed!

  • Hi Angela, maybe I should record some lullabies as well...lol.

    Cheers, Dave.

  • Hehe, watched Toccata again for Hannah. She really loves it. She kicks her legs and arms up and down, and I do little actions with her arms as if she's playing it herself. It's so funny to see.

  • Don't worry. I'll definitely keep watching this one anyway. It seems you have a fan in Hannah for this song. I played it for her when she was getting a bit grumpy and she kicked her legs in excitement. I wanted to put the Sky version on a CD I'm making in memory of my dad. Seems he was a musician, I thought it would fit nicely.
