Best Gamepads for the PC

Here are reviews for some of the best and worst gamepads you can find for the PC. Playing FPS or RTS games is a no brainer for PC, just use a keyboard and mouse, but if you are playing old school emulators like SNES, Genesis, NES, or N64, you really need to get a gamepad!

@gimosh77 Well if I knew that most viewers wanted to use a PC gamepad to play FPS games, then I wouldn't have bothered to mention d-pads at all. To me, I have no idea why anyone would want to do such a thing since a keyboard+mouse is a far superior control method, but to each their own.

third party software is definatly a pain in the ass unless you use xpadder then is easy as hell ht tp:// w ww . so ft82 . co m /g et/ down load/ win dows/ xpadde r/ remove all spaces and click on Mirror one FREE button maping softwarre works even if u dont have the drivers for the controll and works for pc games that dont have a gamepad option!!!

@tigruana i would give you my rare zoltrix z-boxer if i weren't using it. but, if you do manage to find a zoltrix z-boxer that isnt broken in any way, you are lucky because 1) it is a rare gamepad, and 2) it actually has a really nice dpad for once. it has the same layout as the microsoft controller in this video, too...six button with shoulders and dpad. can i send you a picture of it?

@MrNamegame man i'm looking for a good gamepad to play the Fifa series. using the d-pad on this game sux unless its a good d-pad, because it happens often to press forward but it suddenly goes in another direction like left or right, and thats because almost all d-pads are made 1 piece. I've smashed 2 gamepads because i got very angry.

@eateroftheflame i said both quantity over quality and graphics over gameplay. the first one goes for both gamepads and most games nowadays.

@dastingoman your wingman needs drivers or something. go on the internets and find some proper drivers! if it doesn't need a driver disk, go to device manager(start>control panel>system>hardware>device manager), there should be a tab that says other with a question mark icon, plus that, right click on it and click remove. now unplug your controller and plug it in again, and you should have a working controller! if not, just ask me, and tell me what happens.

@eateroftheflame well, take mw3 for example. it has better graphics than black ops, but WHERE THE HELL DID ZOMBIES GO??? that is my whole point here.
