This is a comparison between real racing and the racing in the game. I show side by side footage which demonstrates how close the game actually is to reality!

  • Have you works converted it?

  • @MrKwameR uhg... no! That is the idea of this video - take a near stock car and compare game to real life. My RL Merc is slightly modified (springs, damper, tires, seats, weight) and the EVO from the game is stock. No change at all - not even the color :)

  • great job with your review and video footage!

  • nice

  • i just got this game today. You are awesome at driving.

  • @Altrezia there is a workaround for this problem, and it got to do with the grafik card settings or profile, if you use nvidia. after correcting it, it runs really smooth. dont know bout ati...

  • Great review! I totally agree about the tire noise. There is almost NO tire scrubbing in this title. Being able to hear your tires scrub is a very important thing. It's extremely frustrating going around corners because you can't HEAR when your tires start to lose traction (unless it's under EXTREME conditions). I honestly think they reduced the tire scrubbing to make it seem like they fixed the issue with the rear end kicking out. It still kicks out, but with little to no tire scrubbing.

  • Hi, I have a Nvidia GTX 460 + Intel Core I5 3 ghz + 3 Gb DDR3 Ram and a Thrustmaster Ferrari GT wheel. I've set the graphics setting of the game in order to get the higher average fps possible and noticed that input lag is greatly reduce. I think the input lag really depends on how well this game run on your configuration. Just try to put some settings on low , disable AA, Vsync ... I'm pretty sure you won't see no input lag anymore.

PS : I'm french so sorry if my english is not correct...

  • Put a Nvidia card as physx ,and you will get a lot performance. As i did. from 15fps to 34 at minimum

  • @Altrezia This game has Physx ,dude ,and all i have the 240GT ,and the game run a lot better with my 240GT as Physx.without my 240GT ,i get 15fps at night on the start ,and with 240GT i get 34FPS or more if i overclock the CPU.

  • Hell ya. Finally a descent video Sim Racing Reviewer. I subscribed. I have a GTX 470 and a AMD 3 core at 3.2 . It works good, with every thing on high, and 2x AA. A little low on some tracts at night with all cars. A little below 30 at start of race. Still runs smooth. But I still haven't tried over clocking my GPU for this game. It will OC by 100. I have no wheel lag with a G25. Thanks

  • @McNugget6750 fair enough, but sim cars are too slow for me, so I prefer a car rating of 1000+.

I like this car as well, along with the 500E.
