A quick look at my new Green laser from Viridian. The new c5l on a 4.5 inch xdm 40. (not loaded). Got rid of the laser because it continued to break over and over again. Not very happy.

  • I'm having problems with mine as well. I had it set to the light being at its highest output and the laser on at the same time (no strobe). Put it in storage for a couple months and tested it to make sure the battery hadn't been drained. Only to find that it turned on in strobe mode for some reason. I said whatever, set it back to my preferred mode and stored it away again. Tested it again today and had the same problem except now it's stuck in strobe mode.

    What was your experience?

  • @TxMade006 Did you sell it because it kept malfunctioning? Just curious...

  • Any other issues with the replacement ? Been looking at the CL5 for my XD40.

  • The smallest possible laser on the longest possible gun, quite ugly.

  • I have the Viridian laser on my SR9 and it fits a little loose on the rail.. Only the rail pin holds it in place. I've had it about a year and fired about 5 rounds with it on the gun. Just took it out yesterday and the battery was dead. Replaced it and the light comes on when you press the button then off when you release it.. After you do this 6-7 times it finally stays on. I think it only has a year warranty.

  • i need me one of these

  • Don't think the dog is all that safe. If you accidently shine laser in eyes, can cause serious damage. I'd never point a gun at one of my pets, just a bad safety practice.
