@destinyspath1 i know this is REALLY an old comment for you but i just wanna say i understand where your coming from. my "poppa" was once a music player, and although he's still around, he just can't play the way he used too and it really kills me inside when i hear him say it. so i learned to play in his stead from my mom. i'll always keep his memory alive when that time comes, and i know that, whether or not there is a heaven or hell, our loved ones will still always be there.

Ive yet to hear a song by Carrie I havent like. During Idol she actually made me like a Dixie Chicks song. This is one of my favorite songs that still manages to bring a tear to the eye of this 6'3" 295lb guy!

@maddiechick71598 it`s about hope so i guess it`s not sad but... well as she said- hopeful. it`s about dealing with the hardships in life, about moving on and believing in yourself and your future. i guess she wants to say that this song isn`t about how miserable those lifes are but about how strong those people in her lyrics are... well but then again, i`m just guessing so maybe i`m wrong :D
