Good Sir, Im afraid that a scientific scrutiny of Islam is doomed to fail because of the dichotomy that exists between the two disciplines. Science is not interested in asking theological questions. Theology is based on man's experience of supernatural phenomenon where science is interest only in the natural realm. The kingdom of God cannot be found in the laboratory, it can only be touched upon in spirits of men. Spiritual things are spiritually, not scientifically, discerned. God bless.

I think you come to spiritual certainty using your intellect, for what is the intellect but the drop of Spirit within us? Truly the beauty in Creation can only be measured and felt through the intellect, and what is that but an effort at Science? From our perspective Soul = Reaon= Spirit pointing to God.

it sucks to see good, smart people having to defend their religion because of what some bad people did in the name of it. it's truly depressing, this is my beef with religion. when even the innocent have no choice but to accept that they will be accused of being guilty as long as they stand by what they believe.
