@BunchofMovieVideos agreed wholeheartedly. not only does the music, especially of this era, have a swagger to it, but it's sharp sharp social commentary. he took the past sounds of the 60s 70s and 80s and made it all extreme, nihilistic, and empty to reflect the 90s culture of the time. it's fascinating.

this song is so so good as well. this is my favorite album of his, and probably my favorite song. it's so soulful, creative, and powerful at once.
