I've never seen it done like that! That makes it so much easier. Thanks for the tutorial.

One thing I'm concerned about with prefolds is is it uncomfortable for the baby?

They are pretty bulky on newborns, but once the baby is old enogh to care about the bulk, they have grown in to them. In my opinion they are MUCH more comfortable than plastic and paper!

They do seem bulky compared with disposables, but it's actually REALLY good for babies to have that bulk between their legs to help the hips develop. In the "olden days" one of the cures for clicky hips was to use two cloth nappies to keep the legs "frogged" (ie the legs go out and the feet turn out) as this keeps the hips in a good position until the hip socket ossifies properly. My 3 year old wore cloth and met all her physical milestones early, so they don't hold them back at all.

The waterproof part is called a cover, and the snappi is availabe at several online stores. Just google "snappi cloth diaper" and you'll find tons of options!

Thanks for making this!! I was so confused as to how to use prefolds, but you just made it so simple for me.
