buns need to go to a great bunny vet every 6 mos to get ears, eyes, teeth checked. teeth may need filing under anaesthesia, mine need it every 2-3 yrs. if not they can get very bad cuts in the roof of the mouth. she was almost 10 when she died a year ago. i miss her very much. she was one of my best friends ever.

yes she was a fantastic little fur-buddy. i adored her and i miss her terribly. i had hoped i could keep her alive till 14 yrs- ish. i have heard of that happening. i just loved to hold her and kiss her little face and ears. she would snuggle in my arms and we could nap togther and she would wake me licking my face. cathy

i don't know what she is, i got her at a pet shop over 9 yrs ago for $15. that was before i knew about all the shelter bunnies who need homes. she had seizures 2 weeks after i bought her, requiring a huge medical workup and treatment for possible brain abscess. we eventually decided it was epilepsy. 7 years ago was her last seizure. she is doing great except has had 2 urinary tract infections which nearly killed her. i give her parsley and pansies now to help prevent UTI's.
