Crowdsourcing is the act of taking a job traditionally performed by a designated agent (usually an employee) and outsourcing it to an undefined, generally large group of people in the form of an open call. Look for the book by Jeff Howe, the man responsible for identifying the term, this August.

well, i disagree with photography the average user does not know what noise is, how to manually reduce whilst not losing quality, then the client see a thumbnail preview which looks fine, but when they get the original image they realise theres a lot of problems with it, and then u got yourself a big problem!
