Hi, I'm not sure if a youtube comment is the best point to start this kind of thread... Kubuntu as a wondefull help and documentation platform, so take a look there, then eventually start a thread on it's forum. Many will be glad to help you.

  • what's with the mac like taskbar, full stretch is obviously more practical with 10 windows open.

  • Got a link to that wallpaper :D

  • i want kde 4.4 too so i downloaded it via KPackageKit but after that i could login but it crashed. then i've opened the console and installed plasma-desktop. after that i couldn't login, even the security thing you can choose on grub was bugged *damn* now i've reinstalled kubuntu - here we go again :D Any tips/hints/tutorials would be appreciated :)

  • you know that linux is awesome because mac and win are copying from it :D

    examples:

mac: multiple desktops and some tweaks in the overall system

win7: look and feel of the old kde 4 and some compiz effects

  • say hello to disappearing apps problems

  • I am going to switch to KDE as soon as 4.4 is released. No more ugly Gnomes!

  • nice tip
