  • "incident control unit" is what i wasnt sure it said that

  • Um the main stuff towards the back is "New Zealand Fire Service" and below that "Incident Control Unit". Up the front in small letters is "Emergency Dial 111" and the NZFS website address. That help? I'll add a link to some pictures in the video info.

  • whats it say on the side of the truck?

  • It has to drive out into the path of traffic to be able to back in straight, so they turn the lights on so the cars see them and stop. Once they start backing, they'd be too busy making sure they don't hit anything to worry about turning the lights off, and it also serves as a warning to any firefighters who might be inside. My video "Auckland 205 Backing In" shows more clearly what I mean...

  • Why are the lights turned on while it's getting back in its garage?
