Example of eco drive on polo 1.2 TSI

A real unplanned, example for engine efficiency of Volkswagen 1.2 TSI engine in city driving. It always maintain below 2000rpm except steep hill and overtaking. Enjoy! Will upload for performance drive when I have a chance.

With that turbo entering from 1500 revs,it's easy to keep it under 2000rpm (and,of course,a 6-speed(or more) gearbox

This is not eco driving!!!! It is boring!!!! Moreover the fuel consuption is increased and the engine is suffering when you drive with 6th and 7th gear in very low rpms.

@AsteroSSB 1.2 tsi without air conditioner with both front windows open all the time, with  sport drive in summer 8.5/9l .. but great car !

Great engine, have the same only in Fabia. 77kw version. I maintain flat 6l consumption with ease in the city conditions in winter.
