Well, what can I say? Words really can't describe how sad and beautiful I think this song is... So, please listen, feel every word and let the music take over you. This is Lowlife's haunting single, 'ETERNITY ROAD' (1987). LISTEN VERY LOUD!

Craig Lorentson (RIP) - vocals. Stuart Everest - guitar. Will Heggie - bass guitar. Grant McDowall - drums.

I could be frequently picked and was I ever
I could say beautiful things yet I was not so clever
I doubt if I had ever been
a young thing with a sad face
I had my own natural wit
the sad thing was that I meant it

I took this more or less
as my personal load
my very own to struggle with
down eternity road
as far as I know I was the first and I was somehow the only
as far as I know I won't be the last
it's better to be lonely

  • *sighs* perfect song for riding the train on a dark rainy night, watching the world go by while crying over lost love. Sad, in a good way.

  • Thank you for the upload, guyfromnewcastle.....do you have the lyrics of "Ramafied"? They are nowhere to be found....

  • OMG This is Morrisey/The Smiths by numbers, but I like it!

Merci !!!!

  • One of those deep and thoughtful bands that the 80's awarded us (with). And one of those unknown (by the masses) bands that have accompanied me all these 20 years.

  • very good!
