New Yorkers gathered for an unusual olympiad Tuesday, the first ever Unemployment Olympics. Participants were required to show proof of unemployment to compete. (March 31)

  • It's important for the unemployed to do something so in that light this is a nice video. I would have attended this event had I known. The point is, the need to network is more acute than ever.

    The time to network is not now that you're unemployed, but always network.

    Of course, now that you are unemployed, it can't hurt to network and can even help.

    The economy will be better but it will take many months.
